About this Item

First edition. Near Fine/VG+, with soiling to blank, rear panel, chipping at extremeties, and two small closed tears on front panel. The author's observations and reflections in his garden, interspersed with "forty or so poems" scattered throughout the text. Wonderful dust jacket illustration wrapping the spine and front panel of a labeled aerial view of an elaborate estate garden, by "Morton"(?). In spite of the flaws noted above, this illustration is quite bright and clean. 322 pages.Dust jacket protected with a removable clear archival cover. Priority and international orders require extra charges which will be quoted upon ordering for prior approval. Bookseller Inventory # 507008
