Quarto, 90, wraps, illus., figures, charts, appendices, discoloration to spine, inside spine and front hinge has come unglued. This document contains a detailed description of the solenoid chronograph, instructions for operation, and theory. There are two appendices: amplification, and new method of mounting the coils. The document is profusely illustrated with 43 full-page figures. The author, R. H. Kent, was most directly responsible for the research work on the solenoid chronograph since 1921, and conducted the experiments and prepared this technical note under the supervision of Major Arthur W.
