Original hand drawn comic panel (13 x 12 inch), ink on paper. Inscribed by Ahern to fellow cartoonist Jimmy Hatlo [They'll Do It Every Time]. Image of three men: one gentleman in bed sick saying the medicine makes him sick, an Indian in robe handing him a cup of Indian medicine saying the medicine made his lame horse well, and a gentleman talking to them saying that it shrinks bullet holes in him to the size of pores. Dated January 24 - Friday. Gene Ahern (1895-1960), a cartoonist, drew "Our Boarding House" from 1936 to 1953 and the "Squirrel Cage" using a surreal or screwball approach.
