circa.1920s. Large b/w photograph (10 7/8 x 14 inch) of a studio upper body image of McCarthy. Embossed with Pack Bros. stamp in the lower right corner. Joe McCarthy (1885-1945) was an American song writer. He wrote lyrics for several editions of the 'Ziegfeld Follies' as well as many popular songs such as "You Made Me Love Your, Id Didn't Want to Do It" and I'm Always Chasing Rainbows'. He was a founding member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) in 1914. Fine clean copy. Bookseller Inventory # 12573
