About this Item

This engraved printed calling card reads ÒMR. SINCLAIR LEWISÓ and Lewis has written on both sides of the card as well as having drawn a map. Lewis writes: ÒDear S.P.B. Gee wot a dirty card - last in my wallet. WeÕre camped, with caravan, in a field of Mr. Upton, just to the left of the Ship Inn. SL, Fri evening, June 15, 7:45 PM.Ó Followed by a hand drawn map showing and labeling the Ship Inn, the green near it, nearby barns, and where ÒyouÓ and ÒusÓ are located.
