Stereograph on bone colored boards (7 x 3 1/2 inch) with title under the right photo. Wear to the board due to use. Portrait of General Miles with a wreath of flowers around him. General Miles (1839-1925) served in the Civil War, the Indian Wars; and the Spanish-American War. He won the Medal of Honor in 1862 at Chancellorville. He played a role in nearly all of the Army's campaigns against the American Indians in the West - fought the Cheyenne / Lakota / Nez Perce / and captured Geromimo in the Apache wars.
