Original typewritten letter signed in pencil by James T. Farrell. 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 inches. 1 page. Dated Feb. 17, 1944, New York City. Farrell (1904-1979) was an American novelist and writer. He is most remembered for "Studs Lonigan Trilogy" which was made into a movie in 1960 and a television miniseries in 1979. The typewritten letter which is signed by Farrell is to Mr. Tom Brennan of Jersey City N.J. In this letter, Farrell thanks Mr. Brennan for a card he sent and he would try to get more work done during the year. A small ink line on the top of the letter. A few small spots on the upper corner.
