Edition limited to 800 copies, thin 8vo, pp. [3]-59, [5]; pictorial title page after a design by Stephen Gooden printed in red and black; fine copy in original cream cloth with pictorial gilt decorations after a design by Ricketts, t.e.g. on the rough, preserving the original black printed dust jacket; small chip out at the top of the spine on the jacket, else fine throughout. Dreyfus 81 noting that this was among the most popular of the Nonesuch titles (the edition was sold out by July), and that John Paul Raymond was a fictitious character invented by Ricketts.
