About this Item

108 pages. Dimensions: 9.0in. x 6.0in. x 0.4in.Have you ever met someone that made you feel stupid, ugly, or inferior If so, you just met a difficult person. Have you ever met someone who made you feel sabotaged, or victimized If so, you just met a dangerous person. Difficult people have a need to feel superior. In order to accomplish this, they have to make you feel inferior. They can make you angry, frustrate you and make you react to them in a way that is detrimental to you. If they are a family member or an authority figure, they can threaten your security and, over time, rob you of your self-esteem. Dangerous people are out to destroy you. They will physically hurt you, entrap you, destroy your self-esteem, and rob you. Even the healthiest people have, at times, have encountered these personalities. They, most likely, will feel some discomfort after encountering someone that has acted in an abusive manner. They will also have a response if their security is threatened by an authority figure or if someone close to them tries to degrade or discredit them. People that have been hurt in the past and have not recovered emotionally or does not have the right tools to do so, are particularly vulnerable to these ten personalities. Overcoming the Power of Difficult and Dangerous People describes ten personalities. Seven of them are difficult and three are dangerous. My book will teach you how to identify these toxic people and will help you understand why they behave as they do. Once you do this, you are better able to remove yourself emotionally from their trap and see their behaviors more realistically. Twelve steps (or virtues) are introduced. Practicing these virtues will help diffuse the negative effects that these personalities have on you. Remember the words, Turn the other cheek They do not mean for you to be a doormat, but to rise above the negativity of others. You will see the words and actions of others in a new light. Overcoming the Power of Difficult and Dangerous People is not just a book, but it is a system. As you read, you will become more objective (realistically seeing the situation) and less subjective (thinking through the ego). You will learn to detach and make choices that will diffuse the toxic behavior of others. You will learn to respond in a way that will empower both yourself and, hopefully, have some impact on the difficult or dangerous person. This book will help you heal from past hurts and help you regain the self-respect that you might have lost when dealing with people who are so practiced at belittling and humiliating someone. You will learn that wisdom, honesty, compassion and courage will help you not only grow, but become a stronger and more effective person. You will learn to empower yourself and others to a happier, healthier and more fulfilled life. The ultimate goal of this work is to develop a peaceful spirit. People that live with inner peace are the Healers and the Heroes in this troubled world. This item ships from multiple locations. Your book may arrive from Roseburg,OR, La Vergne,TN.
