Four candidate system were considered using twin and single pumps as well as each system using both mixed and centrifugal type flow. The candidate systems were evaluated against each other using established criteria by application of a binary technique Representative-size Hullborne propulsion systems and ship's service generator sets were included to illustrate that the choice between twin or single pump foilborne systems is not influenced by the hullborne system and generator set.
