NOT ex-library. Oversize hardcover, 9 x 11.75 inches, has smooth cream paper-covered boards with gold spine lettering and gold cover emblem. 75 pages of text, in English, with black and white illustrations, followed by 24 pages of black and white photographs. Last section of book consists of 24 pages, each bearing a tipped-in sample of handmade Japanese paper, with legends. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Covers have very light surface and edge wear. Endpapers lightly foxed. Pages clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has light surface rubbing, chipped and nicked edges, and small tears. Includes original title band over dust jacket. Surface of jacket and band have a faint whitish cast from contact with inside of cardboard slipcase. Plain cardboard slipcase with affixed black paper band has moderate rubbing and wear but is intact and functional with no separation of seams or splitting; band has silver lettering. Subtitle on bands: "Comprehensive and Authoritative 'Everyman's Guide' to History and Techniques". Carefully packed, shipped in a box. This item will be shipped with signature confirmation required.
