About this title

A professor with a liking for professional wrestling is caught in a deadly battle between feminists and Boston's pornography industry over the disappearance of a beautiful stripper

From Library Journal:

Nearing the end of his sabbatical from Wesley College, Professor Thomas Theron ( Doubting Thomas, LJ 2/1/85) heeds a call from colleague Emma Pierce, a feminist picketing against pornography in Boston's Combat Zone. Oddly, Pierce takes him to an adult bookstore and gives him an X-rated videotape; in the midst of her explanation, however, the place blows up. Emma's death galvanizes Theron into action: he searches for a porn-video queen, bumps into a lunatic munitions freak, allies himself with his ex-wife, and tangles with a warped business tycoon. Generally well written, with a few laughs as Theron nearly joins the cast of a porno flick, this is for most collections.
