1st Printing. Signed. 16 pages. Published in 2013. Artist Book. The 78th title in the now-legendary "One Picture Book" Series by Nazraeli Press, one of the most superb ongoing projects of contemporary art photography. Limited Edition of 500 numbered and signed copies. Accompanied by one tipped-in, original print by the photographer (hence the Series' name). An elegant production by Chris Pichler: Small-size volume format. Titles on the cover and spine, as issued. Photographs by Melanie Pullen. Printed on pristine-white, archival stock paper to the highest standards. Without DJ, as issued. Presents Melanie Pullen's "Juliette". As in the Hollywood actress Juliette Lewis. "I was inspired to create a series showing a female perpetrator, a true femme fatale. As opposed to 'High Fashion Crime Scenes', which focused on the victim and was based entirely in reality, the Juliette series is a fantasy, and flips the model's role to one in a position of power. I approached Juliette Lewis with the idea, and she became my muse for the series. I wrote scripts for each shot and she acted out the scenes. Each shot in essence is a film still. The series was shot in Los Angeles in 2004" (Melanie Pullen). An absolute "must-have" title for Melanie Pullen and Hollywood collectors. This copy is one of the Limited Edition, indicated as such in pencil on the Back Limitation Page. It comes with an original color print that is very prominently and beautifully signed in black pen-marker on verso by Melanie Pullen. This title is now collectible. This is one of very few copies of the Limited Edition still available online and is in especially fine condition: Clean, crisp, and bright, a pristine beauty. Please note: The remaining copies from the publisher command $75. This is surely an accessible and lovely alternative. A scarce signed copy thus. 7 color plates, 1 original print. One of the most brilliant American photographers of our time. A fine copy. (SEE ALSO OTHER ONE PICTURE BOOK AND MELANIE PULLEN TITLES IN OUR CATALOG) ISBN 1590053788. Bookseller Inventory # 18108
