An elegant production by Chris Pichler: Small-size volume format. Titles on the cover and spine, as issued. Photographs by Aaron Ruell. Printed on pristine-white, archival stock paper to the highest standards. Without DJ, as issued. Presents Aaron Ruell's "Ten Years Too Late". His very first contribution to the One Picture Book Series, a suite of color photographs of contemporary American suburbia interspersed with self-portraits of his single most famous persona: Kip Dynamite in the cult film classic, "Napoleon Dynamite" (2004). As his growing body of work shows, he is also a serious photographer. "I grew up in a small town out in the country, grew up working on a horse ranch. But I was in a weird area because three hours north of me was San Francisco and three hours south was Los Angeles. So you get this kind of dash of culture over the weekend, and we'd come back home to the country. It was a weird mix, but it was perfect for me because I loved both equally. I think some of my work is inspired by that type of upbringing. There's a certain kind of, I often use the word 'quiet' when describing my work, and I think that comes from growing up out in the country" (Aaron Ruell). An absolute "must-have" title for Aaron Ruell and "Napoleon Dynamite" fans/collectors. This copy is one of the Limited Edition, indicated as such in pencil on the Back Limitation Page. It comes with an original color print (of "Napoleon Dynamite") that is very prominently and beautifully signed in black ink-pen on verso by Aaron Ruell. This title is now collectible. This is one of very few copies of the Limited Edition still available online and is in especially fine condition: Clean, crisp, and bright, a pristine beauty. Please note: The remaining copies from the publisher command $75. This is surely an accessible and lovely alternative. A scarce signed copy thus. 12 color plates, 1 original print. One of the most brilliant American photographers of our time. A fine copy. (SEE ALSO OTHER ONE PICTURE BOOK TITLES IN OUR CATALOG). Bookseller Inventory # 19323
