Covers heavily rubbed and scuffed with chipping and fraying to the corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, foxed endpapers, additional very light foxing to the first and last few pages, small dark stain to the far upper edge of the last several pages in volume II (not anywhere near the text), no names or other markings.
