Katowice, 1980. Square octavo (20 � 20 cm). Original staple-stitched decorative card wrappers; [12] pp. Four pages of photographs. With text in Polish and English. Very good. A catalog for the exhibition "Black and White" held at Galeria 2 in 1980, featuring major figures of the Polish neo-avant-garde, such as Zbigniew D?ubak, Jaroslaw Koz?owski, and Janusz Ba?dyga, among many others. The introductory text in English reads: "'The black and the white', the exhibition is dedicated to Kazimierz Malewicz, is one of many problem presentations so far worked out by the Foto-Medium-Art Gallery. [.] The visual motto of the exhibition are the copies of the two famous suprematic paintings by Malewicz. The exhibition has been composed of objects and pictures (paintings, drawings, photographs, by twenty-one invited artists." As of April 2024, KVK, OCLC show only one copy outside Poland, at Herder Institute, Marburg, with none located in North America. Seller Inventory # 54354
