Born in Boston as Starling Burgess, Tasha Tudor was soon rechristened Natasha (eventually shortened to Tasha) after her father's favorite character in WAR AND PEACE. Tasha Tudor was an award-winning illustrator and writer of children's books. This book is an intimate and illuminating portrait of the author at home on her farm in Marlboro, Vermont.
