Only hints of wear to extremities, some minor marginal marks on seven pages of John Cobb's contribution, corners square and flat, else near fine to fine with no internal markings. Laid in is a handwritten note by John B. Cobb, Jr., one of the participants which reads as follows: "Dear Dick, These are the proceedings of a conference in Kyoto last summer run by Prof Doi, who was with us in the fall. The second conference has been wisely postponed pending clarification of serious goals. My contribution begins on page 17. I have one other copy of the Proceedings. John P.S. David Chappell's letter from U. of Hawaii is still missing. John". John B. Cobb, Jr., School of Theology, Claremont, California, entitled his contributed "NeededTtransformations of the Religious and Scientific Communities" (pp. 17-23).
