About the Author: I grew up In Orange County, California and graduated from USC with a BA in Pschology. I have been writing since my teenage years and even had a children's book manuscript before I graduated high school. With my writing on the back burner I moved to LA to become a movie star! This is where I met my husband, and we had a little girl named Alexis. When Lexi turned 2, I had my first battle with the Pediatrician about getting rid of the pacifier. I was in shock...how was I going to do this? ..and it was at about this time that I knew my daughter was not the only one addicted to this beloved pacifier! The thought of getting rid of the paci kept me up at night and thus, I turned my energies into research to figure out a way to overcome this pacifier obstacle. Palina the Paci Fairy was born. I had always been a writer of poetry and short stories and even that children's book in high school but it was my daughter whom inspired me to take this seriously and fulfill what I believe was and is my destiny.
