HB book in G condition. First edition. Blue boards have slightly faded, but are sturdy with only minor bumps to corners. Spine printed in gilt has bumps to head and foot. Edges have slight wear, and shelfwear is apparent on both front and back board. Page edges are lightly soiled. Binding intact but cracked along rear hinge. Previous owner's stamp on front endpaper. Interior pages are lightly foxed and yellowed, but otherwise undamaged and unmarked. DJ in Fair/Fair - condition has considerable wear along all folds. White portions have soiling. Upper edge is torn 1" at front panel hinge and is missing .5" sections on front panel near spine and at head of spine. Lower DJ spine is also missing small sections and has torn .5" at folds.
