First edition of the second and final volume of this annual publication. Quarto. pp.266, [8] adverts. Decorated gilt buckram covers designed by Charles Ricketts, who contributes an article, "A Note on Original Wood-Engraving", which is preceded by a wood-engraving by him, The Autumn Muse. Also Lucien Pissarro contributes a wood-engraving "The Queen of the Fishes" in five colours and the endpaper designs. Other contributors of artwork include: D.G. Rossetti, Laurence Housman, Charles Conder, Reginald Savage, Walter Crane, Gustave Moreau, C.H. Shannon, P. Puvis de Chavannes, Edward Burne Jones, William Strang, Will Rothenstein, Giulio Campagnola, G.F. Watts etc.The literary contributions include work by Austin Dobson, Michael Field, Edmund Gosse, Victor Plarr, John Gray, Max Beerbohm, Selwyn Image and Villiers de l'Isle-Adam, Lionel Johnson.Light foxing here and there and some pages towards the rear water-stained.
