About this Item

Full cloth binding. Water staining and wrinkling of covers and first several pages. Apparently published earlier by different publisher. DJ is a mess: torn, chipped, stained, you name it. The importance of this book in the history of Nazi Germany cannot be overestimated. Industrialist Fritz Thyssen supported Hitler at first with lots of financing, but eventually realized that he was dealing with a virtual devil and went into exile. It took courage to write this book, even in exile. Hitler's mad dogs were everywhere. 281 pages. Appendix gives thumb-nail sketches of principal figures involved in the transformation of Germany into a killing machine. Illustrations. Bookseller Inventory # 6406
