Signed, Limited Edition of this stunning modernist, illustrated book in an impressionistic binding. This is number 30 of 450 copies, signed by the author on the colophon page. Printed with six full-color illustrations done by hand, at the Pynson Printers. An essay on painting by the author of The Haunted Bookshop (1919), and Parnassus on Wheels (1917). Quarto. [16] pp. With six pochoir plates and a pochoir enhanced title page, all of which have tissue guards. With black and white vignettes. The decoratively illustrated, full linen cover boards are clean with little noticeable wear. Housed in a brown paper over board slipcase. With half of the glassine dust wrapper, laid in. Interior pages are clean and unmarked. Binding is square and intact, but cracked at the title page. Un-paginated. A book that has been designed, "with verve and enthusiasm," according to a book review from the period set into the rear end papers. Bookseller Inventory #
