About this title

What ever happened to Zeus? What became of Pan and the other pagan gods? What if they were real and alive today? This thoroughly researched mythological novel revives the ancient gods in the 21st Century, with humor, insight and vision.

About the Author:

Lawrence R. Spencer lives in Northern California. He feeds and shelters his body as a small business consultant. He writes books to feed and shelter his soul. His quest is to create literature for and about immortal spiritual beings, which is the common thread of each of his books. Too many books and movies about the glory of being a body make us forget that we are who we are -- spiritual beings who possess, animate and motivate the universes we create and inhabit. is the author of 4 books including THE OZ FACTORS, the ground breaking evaluation of civilization based on exhaustive research and documentation of world history, scientific and philosophical anomalies and ancient archaeology. The book defines 12 common denominators of human thinking that prevent Mankind from finding workable solutions to the problems of life. His second book, PAN - GOD OF THE WOODS, explores the modern day adventures of the ancient gods operating in the computer age. It is based on years of research in world mythology, ancient pagan practices and philosophy. This book is filled with mythological fact, metaphorical characters, fantasy, poetry. It reveals the daily lives and points of view in a universe of immortal souls. Pan encounters a disembodied computer software company owner, Derek Adapa, who is accidentally shot by hunters in the Trinity Alps while on a week-end hiking trip. Pan guides Derek from life as a human being through death as a spiritual entity to rebirth as a newly aware and powerful being. Pan instructs and guides us, as he did at Marathon more than 2,000 years ago to be all that we can be, spiritually. If you were a god, how would you change the world? THE BIG BLEEP is a spoof of the classic film noir genre detective story. Sam Shovel is a private investigator who ineptly stumbles into a different universe, beyond the realm of the real world. His side kick, Peter The Potted Plant is a stand up comic, performing nightly at "My Dear Watts Inn" whose patrons are both fictional and real life super heroes and legendary figures from ages past. Sam is the owner of The Un-Existential Detective Agency of America. His investigation leads to a new universe of self-realization that propels him from fictional character to sentient being. ALIEN INTERVIEW, published in 2008, reveals for the first time ever, Top Secret U.S. military transcripts of a series of interviews conducted with the pilot of the UFO that crashed near Roswell, NM in 1947. The interviews, and commentary notes that accompany the documents, were received from a former US Army Air Force nurse named Matilda O'Donnell MacElroy, who personally conducted the interviews over a period of 6 weeks in July and August of 1947. Her dying request was that the transcripts finally be released to the world. In a letter received with the transcripts, Mrs. MacElroy says: "Mankind needs to know the answers to questions which are contained in these documents: Who are we? Where did we come from? What is our purpose on Earth? If there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe why have they not contacted us? It is vital that people understand the devastating consequences to our physical and spiritual survival if we fail to take effective action to undo the long-standing and pervasive effects of alien intervention on Earth."
