Highly Collectible, Unmarked, Out-of Print copy. 1956 Tudor 1st Edition in GOOD+++, surprisingly well-preserved condition. Buy buy from dealers who fully describe their book, noting any flaws; avoid undisclosed surprises. The photography of Patrice Molinard captures the people, the sights and life in the magnificent, long-gone Paris of 60+ years ago. Immaculate, unmarked hardcover in rare, price-clipped Dustjacket; DJ is frequently missing in offers for this book. GOOD+ Pictorial DJ is price-clipped; immaculate, and fully intact. There is significant chipping at both spine ends and top corners; back cover is creased. No hint of dulling or toning from age. DJ is now in complimentary, archival-quality acetate jacket which mitigates these flaws to a very great extent. VERY GOOD + book is immaculate, fresh and completely unmarked: no remainder marks on book edges; no bookseller stamps or stickers; no bookplates, owner signatures, gift inscriptions, notes, underlining or highlighting; no ex-library detritus. Cream cloth cover boards are clean and lie flat and square. Spine is straight and unbroken although slightly loose and ends are lightly bumped. Binding and hinges are sturdy. Beautifully white and immaculate pages are crisp and fresh with no sign of age toning or yellowing and are lavishly illustrated with B&W and color photos on virtually every page. This charming book is an ode to Paris in the mid-1950s with its chic and unique style and the authors have captured this bygone era magnificently.
