About the Author:

About the AuthorTim Boe is a decorated combat veteran. He was a heavy equipment mechanic. He had years of crane operating experience on diverse construction projects from buildings to roadways and bridges. He drove trucks hauling freight, and cars, across the country. He is an instrument rated pilot and flew for a defense contractor where he was also the head of field service. He designed and set up machining production and supervised welding and maintenance operations. He trained US and Canadian SWAT and Special Response Teams around the country and advised US Anti-terrorist units in the operation and maintenance of armored vehicles. He lectured to high ranking military in the Middle East, the Far East and South America. He assisted troops in the desserts of Saudi Arabia and accompanied military throughout the jungles and Andes Mountains of Venezuela. He dove in the waters off the coast of California with Marines while serving as a consultant during extensive testing of mobile weapons stations. He was a volunteer mounted deputy for several years in the Macomb County Sheriff's Department where he was detailed to guard George H. Bush and Bill Clinton during their '92 presidential campaigns. He also built a civil war army wagon to military specifications and operated it during reenactments. This fictional story takes place in Detroit and northern suburbs and is loosely based on those adventures. Also driving them is a desire to avenge the murder of a life-long friend.
