Hardback book bound in green simulate leather-covered boards with gilt titles and gilt outline on Iowa on the cover. End pages are illustrated with photo of early town center and of a later view of the city. Book has wear at spine and corners with former owner's name and a 1992 date inside front cover; there are some foxing on the end pages. One page has a rust stain where a paper clips was inserted.
