First edition. Signed by the illustrator on the title page. Hardcover. Illustrated endpapers. 210 pp. with chronology, bibliography, index. Illustrated with drawings, vintage and contemporary photos and reproductions. A history of the Delaware River township of Pennsauken, located in Camden County in the southwestern part of the state. This area was one of the earliest to be settled by the Swedes and Dutch in the first half of the 17th century; originally part of the now defunct Stockton Township, the actual town of Pennsauken was incorporated in 1892.
