Tan buckram boards have red lettering on the spine and red decoration on the front cover. Covers and spine are slightly darkened, not soiled. Lettering on spine is a bit faded. Foot of spine is a trifle bumped. Endpp. are a bit darkened from offset/light foxing. Letter tipped in at the front free endp., from a member of the PA German Society. Text is very clean, binding is sound and tight. Contents include "Names Given by the Lenni Lenape or Delaware Indians to . . .Places in . . .New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia," (41pp), "The Ephrata Printing Press," (12pp), "Of Months and Days," (23pp), and "The Folk Culture of Pennsylvanians, Its Value in Modern Education," 46pp. Scarce volume, digital image available.
