Original quarter-leather over brown cloth boards with gilt titling on front cover and spine; spine with five raised bands and decorative motifs; the binding is holding tight and strong with some light rubbing along the hinges and leather corners. Marbled endpapers and page ends. The interior is clean: no writing, no bookplates, etc. The text is clean and unmarked and remarkably free of foxing.
