About this Item

Tan buckram with gilt lettering. Minor bump to head and heel of spine and tiny dent to center of upper front edge. Text is clean and white, no marks. Unclipped DJ shows several tape repairs, small chips and tiny closed tears, rubbing to all edges. One day a stray Bassett Hound appears at the door of the Borland family. Just about the time they decide to keep her, her family appears to take her home. That was the beginning of the "visits" back and forth until her owners finally decide that she wants to live with the Borlands, who little suspected that a short-legged, flop-eared animal would much such a change in their tranquil lives.
