About the Author: Michael True, former president, International Peace Research Association Foundation, is the author of ten books including An Energy Field More Intense Than War: The Nonviolent Tradition and American Literature , and Ordinary People: Family Life and Global Values . Emeritus Professor, Assumption College, he also taught at Duke University and Columbia University and as a Fulbright Scholar at University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, and Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.
