Wraps. 8 pp. A reprint work extracted from volume X of Gynecological Transactions, providing a short and technical explanation of the author's theory on the relation between the womb and vagina, which would cause the muscles in the vagina to relax and allow the baby out. Chadwick was a noted Boston based gynecologist, helping to found the gynecological department at Boston City Hospital, as well as the American Gynecological Society. He was also noted for supporting women in the practice of medicine (Wikipedia). GOOD condition. Some soiling and minor pencil notation to the front wrap. Light creasing and toning to the pamphlet.
