Illusrtrated by ?Phiz?, but reengraved by W. B. Gihon and Gilbert. 327 pp. 8vo (in 4?s). [? Yellow paper wraps or brown or black cloth]. A.e.g. Double column edition. Refs. W. Smith, American Editions, pp. 251-2 Podeschi A127, D13. This is a late impression of Lea and Blanchard's very early (1848) edition of Dickens's Dombey and Son, later (1852) issued in a subedition by Getz, Buck & Co. from these plates. The title page is as called for by Smith. Lacks covers. Yet trace of yellow residue at rear spine suggests old yellow wrappers. Corner of leaf 63/64 torn off, but tucked in. All else intact. Foxing, especially of pp. 184-87. Bookseller Inventory # 11540
