Octavo in maroon half leather over maroon cloth covered boards, all edges gilt. Inscribed and notated on the front free endpaper: "Foe Harman Yerkes, Esq/ Edition of 20 copies/ Number 14/ Thaddeua S. Kinderdine/ 9-22-16". 155 pages, printed in double columns. A tight, internally bright example, touch of wear to the leather at the spine extemities. Thaddeus Kinderdine was the descendant of an old Pennsyvania Quaker family that first arrived in America in the 17th century. The larger portion of this volume recounts his tour of the Canadiana nd American West Coast from Vancouver and the Canadian Rockies south to Los Angeles amd into Mexico.
