Folio-size art book containing 51 plates (about half in full color). Limited to 500-copies. The 82-year-old artist's exploration of surrealism and dreams with a pronounced Hebrew / Old New York character. The plates are sharp and attractive and they're introduced/interspersed with his written thoughts on surrealism and his own life (in a blend of Hebrew and English). The pages are very lightly edge-toned and the boards show some light bumping to corners. The jacket is intact but heavily edge-worn and toned with a few small water spots. Missing a large 4" square piece from the top edge of the back jacket panel, a 1" chip from spine and narrow strips from the top and bottom for the front panel. Very presentable in a new Brodart protector. FEP bears an inscription in Yiddish to the effect of "A gift. From father, mother, Benjaim - to Asa Stodolsk - for our children Al- fried Seiden [Frida Seiden?] for the Passover Seder 5723 - 1963, April 8." Main Picture: Cover. Picture 2: Interior.
