Following the almanac is a lengthy section of short anecdotes relating to American history, farming and gardening and various household remedies. Included is an account of a bull versus a steam engine, the growth of New York, etc. GOOD condition. Large but mostly faint dampstain affecting the first half of the book, with a bit darker dampstain along the upper edge. Minor soiling and uneven fading to the wraps, with minor rubbing. Some creasing and curling to the corners and rear cover. Paper wrap torn and folded back along the lower half of the spine. Interior clean and solid with minor scattered foxing.
