About this title

Synopsis:

This 9" x 11" picture book contains over 60 black and white photos showing the construction of Disneyland in the 1950's. There are both aerial and ground shots of the construction. Captions and dates are provided for each photo. Also, there is written text of what the 1955 rides and amusements for each area were (Main St, Tommorrowland etc.). The Disney Magazine and the Disneyana magazine did an article on the book, and the Orange County Weekly wrote a story on the 3 different volumes as well.

This book, along with the other two volumes ("Disney Early Years through the eye of a photographer" & "Disney Years seen through a photographers lens are wonderful historical books for anyone's collection.
