16-1/4 x 12-1/2 inches. [4], 21 leaves, text printed on both sides, collotype photographs on rectos only. Publisher's linen over boards, with a black leather spine. A fine copy in the publisher's printed slipcase, which is slightly worn, missing small pieces. One of 1000 numbered copies, designed by A.G. Hoffman (Joseph Blumenthal's partner in the Spiral Press). Signed by Bruehl at the end of his foreword. "Seductive photography, beautifully printed and presented in a handsome volume, an exemplary combination of modernist angles with pictorialist values," Parr and Badger, The Photobook, v. 1, p. 81.
