About this Item

Printed stiff wrappers with cloth spine. Very good or somewhat better. 39 pp. Consists of reproductions of photographs and newspaper articles relating to the St. Lawrence Seaway project. A joint venture of the UnitedStates and Canada, it was a major canal and navigable channels project of 15 locks running between the Atlantic Ocean and the western end of Lake Superior. Ity was built along the St. Lawrence River in order to bypass several rapids and dams and to help generate hydroelectric power for Ontario.
