Stamped Cloth. Very Good. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. A very nice copy of an unusual and fascinating book, considered by some to be a fraud of varying dimensions. Binding tight, every page present, corners lightly bumped, stamped brown cloth. Only mark in book is prev/owner's name written lightly in pencil on fep. Author claims to be a colonel in the Confederate Army but, according to Howes,: "This Hungarian imposter.was a non-combatant hospital orderly." .Copy has had some professional restorative work to the spine, with a new paper label.
