8.5" x 5.5" 96pp. Rust red cloth covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine, in dust wrapper. Small stamp on the front leaf, els fine condition. The jacket has a little edge wear and rubbing but is fairly bright. Second printing. With a color frontispiece of a tattoo design chart of Rich Mingins (a well respected London tattooist). Illustrated with black and white photos of people with tattoos, and with drawings of different tattoos historical and modern. "This is the story of European tattooing, telling briefly how it has developed during the four thousand years that separate the butterfly on Field-Marshal Montgomery's right arm and the tattoos discovered on the skins of Egyptian mummies dating to 2000 B.C.".
