First edition. Squarish octavo. [12] pp. with a verse and an illustration on every page. Text framed with red rules. Publisher's stabbed-and-sewn brown wrappers, front with title in black and with an image of seven pigs all surrounded by a twining red frame. A very good copy. OCLC only locates 4 copies.This delightful bit of doggerel begins with "There are seven small pigs/ Oh, nasty small pigs!/I hope that one pig is not you." Each of the seven pigs is a lesson on the dangers of the seven deadly sins.
