About this Item

inserted one page Preface calls this a "pre-publication draft for immediate us by our friends engaged in the cold war"; large quarto, [iii], 136 leaves reproduced from typescript and printed on one side of a leaf only, as issued, part of one leaf and a few words on another appear to have been deliberately removed by the authors; the inserted Preface tattered at top margin distant from letters but a very good copy in original paper wrappers with cloth tape spine; the Plain Truth of the title refers to Benjamin Franklin's pamphlet but things become complicated after that "this book therefore is based upon the science of automation which deals with circularities, upon coaction theory which systematically analyses the moral structure of each self-intensifying problem", Bookseller Inventory # ZB839049
