[2] p., 28 leaves containing 132 geometric figures (each leaf signed: Oliver J. Stuart, sc. N.Y.); 26 cm. Leather spine with dark brown cloth over boards; gilt-stamped cover title: Descriptive Geometry -- Plates. All page edges marbled. The author, Albert Ensign Church, was Professor of Mathematics at the United States Military Academy. Tipped onto front free endpaper is a calling card reading: William M. Bodine, 2012 Spruce St. This was probably William Milliken Bodine, who was born in Philadelphia in 1862, received his B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1884, became a glass manufacturer in New Jersey, and died in 1918. In Good Condition: loss of leather for 2 cm. at head of spine and 5 cm. at tail; leather rubbed along edges; loss of cloth on front board at tail of spine and on back board near head of spine; corners are rubbed; cover slightly soiled; endpapers separated along hinges; leaves are clean and tight.
