About this title

A young angel, an ancient king, a mind transformed from a living one into platinum, a civilization on the trailing edge of its golden age, and the threat of imminent extermination come together in Platinum DNA. This sci-fi fantasy thriller is the heart-warming story of a slave seeking freedom, an admiral determined to help him, a baron set to destroy him, and two lovable workers who save him when his time is up. Far from being just a story of the slave, the whole A'lantean civilization depends on his knowledge, skill, and intent. The Council of Barons has a long standing vendetta against all such slaves, and the king had very specific instructions concerning them-and one remains. Buckley has eluded their best efforts to find him and recycle his platinum brain, until now. He works as a menial assembler of gigantic spacecraft-Arrow class warships. One misunderstood question has exposed him, and the cataclysmic results are about to follow. Enjoy romance and comedy as the drama unfolds.

About the Author:

Dean Cody was a successful entrepreneur in the software industry, then he retired and began pursuing an old interest in writing. He is a husband and the father of two grown daughters, active in church and quite an adventurer in the Utah wilds. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war and worked as a radio broadcaster in Alaska and Wisconsin. Degenerate Technorata was born during the years of meticulously crafting computer software, as a fantasy world set forward a thousand years. It provided an imaginary spacecraft to escape the tedious world of programming algorithms. Human nature is constant; only the arena changes. There is no ultimate evil; only perspectives in hard opposition. Desperation can be hidden under many layers of social veneer, but it will burn through. Any number of thoughts like these come to the author when he is by a campfire under a starry sky.
