(New York, 1850). 5 1/2 x 8" playbill for Monday Evening, Nov. 18th, listing W.A. Ashe & Co. as Proprietors and Mr. Jefferson as Stage Manager. Boldly printed with "Triumphant Success. Thunders of Applause", etc. They were performing "An Alarming Sacrifice", "House in an Uproar", "My Neighbour's Wife", and "L'Amour!". Cast included Joseph Jefferson and his wife. Jefferson (1829-1905) was a notable American actor, most remembered for his role as Rip Van Winkle. Very good copy with some staining. Seller Inventory # 6324
