SF novel. This UK edition is rare. More about the dustjacket: the edges of both inner flaps have been shaved by a millimetre or so. Together with the tape residue marks on the book I suspect that the dustjacket had originally had a protective brodart (or whatever it was called 75 years ago) that was affixed to both pastedowns (the dustjacket itself has no tape marks ot tape residue), and the tape residue, brown marks and shaving I have described were a result of 'freeing' the dustjacket from the book at some time (not by me). Still, with all faults, it presents very well, as they say. And it is rare. Page edges a little browned, tape residue on both pastdowns, a near fine copy in a G/VG dustjacket (clipped but with 4/- price still showing) with some fading to the spine panel (red to pink, not affecting black lettering) and two brown marks on verso side of the spine panel (at top and bottom).
