4to. Stiff glossy wrappers, clasp-bound. (Ca. 150pp, rectos only). Very good. Internally near fine, though outer wrappers (only) a bit age toned and foxed. Film script for this 1988 novel, signed boldly on the title page by Tolkin (blue fineline) and others named on that page: director ROBERT ALTMAN (blue fineline), stars TIMOTHY ROBBINS (black fineline) and GRETA SCACCHI (black fineline) and executive producer CARY BROKAW (black fineline). This 1992 release was a satire on Hollywood and the movie making business. Altman won a Golden Globe for best director and Robbins for best actor and Tolkin an Edgar Award for best motion picture screenplay. Very unusual item -- these film scripts were produced in very small numbers only, and a copy signed by all five persons cited on the title page is quite scarce. Bookseller Inventory # 32029
