Stamp and/or signature of later owner five volumes. Restored by Cottage Bindery of Bath. Lightly rubbed, scrape to top corner of upper board volume III, small areas of loss of gilt top of spine vol VI. Text very clean. Very good condition. All the plays of William Shakespeare, beautifully bound. The first volume includes a Life of Shakespeare, the text of his will, prefaces by Alexander Pope and Samuel Johnson, a History of the English Stage, and a glossary.
